Unfortunately we dont have RoutingWorks so I've had to do a bunch of wiring by using bosses. Is there a way to find out their lengths?

There's a little utility out there somewhere called Spliner. That works for getting lengths of splines. I think others may have a better method for adding up line/arc segments than what I know about (which is snapping and adding dimensions of each). If you don't already know, you can get the length of an arc by clicking each end point of the arc, and then the arc itself, and then a place to put the dimension in space.

Select the guide curve entities and hit the measure tool and it will give you the total length.
