This is new for me but I guess it is legal in the state where it is being built.

20,000 sq ft metal building but other than that details are very sketchy.

They are calling it a Hemp manufacturing facility but it is marijuana.

Ordinary Hazard Group II?

Anyone else do anything like this?

We've done a few of these grow facilities. They have been specified as OH2. The extraction areas may be EH2, but are typically a very small area and don't have a huge impact.

THC extraction processes vary. Some processes use liquid carbon dioxide and some utilize a hydrocarbon such as unodorized butane or propane. Listed THC extraction equipment is available in the market place - in other cases, the THC equipment is fabricated by people who know marijuana but have no engineering skills in the design or hazards of this process. I recommend a review of NFPA 36, Standard for Solvent Extraction Plants, for guidance on the design of the automatic sprinkler system once the selected solvent is identified.
