Ode to NX (from the UGS BBS)

As I tensely sit and wait
For NX to calculate,
I pray it will not crash
And turn my file into trash.
When I hear some pretty bad words
Coming from the other nerds,
I can’t resist the urge to ask
If NX is their present task.
I knew all along that was the case
But I had to wave it in their face.
Now I wait for a new release
And hope I get some peace.
I know I’m urinating upstream,
But it doesn’t hurt to dream.
