Please advise the chemical and the dosage rate for Odor control in Lift stations. Typical dosing rate of (if NaOCl is used) against each gram of H2S

You may want to investigate the nitrate salts as a less expensive option.

Springfield, MA had terrible odors from their upgraded sewage treatment plant during the '80's. Each summer, the greater Springfield area was overwhelmed with stench. You may want to contact the plant superintendent about the means used to abate the stench.

Treatment plants only smell when the plants are overloaded or poorly operated. A properly designed and operated plant has no smell.
