Offset Concrete Piers

Does anyone have a detail showing what the typical solution is for a pier offset from the grade beam? I am designing a P&GB replacement for an existing spread footing. Since the structure (residential) is already there, I can't imagine that the drillers will be able to place the pier too close to the grade beam. The only thing that comes to mind is a haunch at the top of each pier that extends out to support the grade beam. Grade beam will be 8" x 16" and the piers at Ø16" or Ø18".

I worked on a project that had inclined piers. I think they were 9 degrees off vertical and tied into the haunch beneath the existing foundations. Don't try and pour the pier and haunch in a single placement, because you may need to use temporary casing on the pier. Make sure to have the spacer "wheels" on the reinforcing cage to keep it off the lower side of the shaft.
