We have an oil aeration problem. A piston pump must draw aerated oil. Then it supplys that oil to a bearing. Trouble is the bearing isnt receiving enough oil. Due to the bubbly nature of the oil .
We would like to reduce the amount of air in the oil before it enters the pump. Any Ideas anyone, separate tank ???

Thanks in advance

enfield, The solution may be as simple as relocating the suction port to the bottom of the oil reservoir allowing the oil foam to float on the surface. Or as complex as installing an oil/air separator. It's all application specific. Full details on the specific application are required.

Hope this helps.
