Oil based liquid staining.

Hi! we are 3 seniors in an EDD PLTW group! We would like to have some people who have knowledge in stain and waterproof fabrics! we are having trouble with figuring out how to make the materials water based liquid proof, AND oil based liquid proof. Most stain proof fabrics dont apply to oil based liquids at all, and we would like to try to find a solution to this! We would like to have your help in coming up with ideas/ suggestions.
