Do you know any criteria for ventilation air to a car service pit?
An application like an oil change pit for an instant oil change facility. CFM? I would assume just ventilation air or would you have an exhaust also.
My actual application is a long pit for the inspection of a tractor trailer. 50'X3' and only about 5 feet deep.

Assuming you are in the US check the NEC & co-ordinate your design with the electrical. The amount of ventilation has a direct effect on whether or not all the electrical equipment in the pit needs to have an explosion rating.
