I am currently looking at specifiying decantation valves to draw off water from the bottom of large oil storage tanks. These valves will close off when oil starts to break through. I have looked at several vendors that do float valves operating on density difference, however has anyone used valves that work on capacitance or conductivity measurements or similar and point me in the direction of vendors that sell them and can provide some further assitance?
