Oil Transfer Pump Sizing

Hi
I am trying to size some pumps, used to transfer gas oil between storage facilities.
What are the main criteria I will need to calculate in order to approach some suppliers?
Is length and height enough or will some pressures and throughputs be required?
If so, formulas would be much appreciated!
