Not sure I am in the correct forum. We are an offshore vessel trying to clean our Oily bilge waste water.
We are using a Hamworthy OWS HS 5 (Oily water Separator) and it does separate the oil from the water, but since there is no fine filter in this unit (like the old units) therefore, although once passed thru the separator there is no more oil in the water, the water is not clean enough to pass the 15 ppm sensor, due to rust or carbon particles.
My question is what type of filter (brand and model) can you recommend? The flow is aprox 83 lit/min.
