GE's Customer Service Number is

Try and enter an inquiry on the following input form

[ignore][/ignore]

I've taken the liberty to enter the information you supplied. However, I wasn't able to enter your name or phone number... you may want to enter the information into a form yourself and supply contact information by which they can contact you ..

Let's see what we can get...

I've hammered on GE repeatedly that it is impossible from a user apsect to get technical support on older products because they do not identify their technical resources to the public.

If it comes up blank... I have a couple of other paths to
pursue ..

Try your local "GE Industrial Systems" outlet. The one in Baton Rouge is pretty helpful, but very busy. They can get information for old GE equipment. 225-295-8640 (Jude Hernandez) if he's available.

Suggestion: This size of motor may have been manufactured abroad, e.g. in Canada. The original posting does not state this information.

TEECO1:

Source at GE Industrial Systems advises that the GE Technical Center should be able to provide you with the motor data you are chasing.

Would appreciated some feedback on how this works out for you.

Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who responded.

Yes these motors were built else where, likely Brazil. I spoke to GE's Technical Center as suggested by JOmega. They will supply data for $250.00.

We have contact our client...

In the interum I created my own data sheet with a drawing based upon measurements.

Thanks Again!

Suggestion: Visit
for GE AC large motors:
Large AC refers to motors whose outer stator diameter is 54 inches or greater. This motor line was produced primarily by GE in Schenectady, NY and Peterborough, Ontario. (Incidentally, Ontario is in Canada.)
