Hello all,

I wonder if somebody have any clue about how to set the visible area of an Excel Document inserted in a CATDrawing.

Thanks

Under the pulldown Edit>Links select the Pointed Documents tab and click the OLE Links... button. The Microsoft Office Compatability add-on may need to be installed. At that point, the Change Source option had the range stated after the file path/name.xls

Thanks for your Tips but I could not change the visible area of the Excel sheet.

Say I see in the CATDrawing cells (A1-C5) and I would like to see (B12-G20).

How you do this?

Select the section you wish to copy.
Paste w/link into CATDrawing.
-
Or in the edit OLE section from earlier, in the Item Name:
Worksheet Name!R33C2:R35C17
(i.e.: Worksheet Name!Row33Column'B':Row35Column'Q')

To clarify further:
Highlight the Row/Column:Row/Column from Excel and copy.
Paste Special using Link Source.

At that point you will see in the OLE section from earlier, in the Item Name: . . .

While this is modifiable from the Change Source area, it does not modify the size of the CATDrawing viewing area and does not update the aspect ratio of the pasted selection, thus possibly distorting the view the linked excel document.
