Olet Detailed dimensions 1

I was looking for detailed dimensions of olets, and specifically bevel on the olets that is required to weld the olet to pipe. The olets that we are receiving are having bevel of 12 mm and it requires 5 weld passes. I am looking for a supplier/manufacturer in Canada, who can provide olets with minimum bevel ( approx 6mm) that will reduce weld passes to 2 passes.

I've worked with WFI and they will change prep dimensions for weld requirement considerations. Their website is

Remember that weldolets are used as a reinforcement for the branch. If you do not place the correct amount of weld required the olet may not meet the Code requirement for reinforcement.Also for Stress Analysis the SIF's are dependant upon the correct weld profiles being used.
