Hi everybody,

my first post in the forum! Being familiar with PTC CREO and less with NX, I wonder if you can suggest me how to obtain in NX 9 the ProE command "One sided volume" allowing to calculate the volume/mass of a solid beneath a given datum plane (intersecting the solid, obviously).

I'll appreciate any kind reply.

There's not "built-in" NX command for that specific scenario. However, you can trim or split the body with the plane and measure the resulting solid then delete the trim/split to get back to your original model. If you need it to be an associative measurement that updates with model changes, you could use "extract body" to make an associative copy and then trim the copy and measure it. If you turn off the "at timestamp" option when you extract the body, any changes to the original will be applied to the copy and the measurement will update accordingly.
