Online Thickness Monitoring of Pipe/Fittings by UT Thickness Meter against Flow accelerated corrosio

Some circuits at petrochemical plant are being monitored online against flow accelerated thickness loss. These circuits include BFW, HC, LC, Blow Down, Acid circuit and Benfield circuit etc. Please confirm the followings;

1- Recommended practices for inclusion/exclusion of certain fittings
2- API relevant standard
3- Any other relevant guidelines
