online valve flushing

dears:

we Have a 24" ball valve passing, I heard that there is a technique called " online flushing", in which a special chemicals are used to clean the valve from deposits, could any one provide more details? or provide any reference websites?

Valve having injection fittings or Valve body vent/drain can be subjected to online chemical flushing, Chemical cleaning and if still haven't got bubble tight seal or if you need immediate results, can go for online sealing(temporary- i.e till u operate the valve next time).

In the absence of injection fittings or body vent/drain, as per wt i have heard, you will have to hot tap and install a fitting.
