Open *.CATProduct as read only...

Hi all,

I have a situation where, i want to lock the file structure (Main Assy.-> Sub Assy. -> Parts) to few users.
I thought of doing this by opening the main assembly file as read only, but here the problem is only main assy is read only, while inside sub assemblies and parts have full access.

Any body here, knows any way to keep the file structure as well as models from updating accidently...
