Hi,

Is anyone aware of how I can model an open delta voltage regulator on a model which only accepts three phase units?

In particular the issue with the tapping being on the series winding?

Should I model it as an auto transformer or as a regular transformer?

Thanks

For an open delta use two single phase auto-transformers.
It is not recommended to connect line to neutral loads past an open delta voltage adjuster. Past the open delta auto-transformer the voltages to the neutral are no longer equal.(The open delta auto-transformer connection is often used for voltage adjustment. A common application is between 480 Volts and 600 Volts. This comes up a lot in Canada for temporary power at industrial sites. The majority of rental generators are 480 Volts and many industrial sites in Canada use 600 Volts.)
