Open Garage Damp Location?

Would the boxes for the surface-mounted receptacles in a 10-story open commercial garage need to be damp-proof? A hard rain may get some of the boxes at the perimeter wet, but a typical rainstorm would not reach them.

NEC 314.15. In "damp" locations boxes should be placed to prevent moisture. However, "wet" locations require boxes listed for wet locations.

A damp location is defined as protected from weather and not subject to saturation.

It sounds like you have a damp location and don't need special boxes.
