Hi

i have question about that CT which marked with true .
my quz is : if i removethect secondary wire and the circuit is run is there any problem ?

why this ct is steel layers there is no cupper wire turend aroung the core ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "ct secondary wire". Of course, a CT consists of a primary (the three phases) and a secondary (the wire connected to the sensor), so removing the secondary would be akin to removing the sensor... I guess that's not what you mean.

As for your second question, what makes you think there's no copper turns? Based on the manual I suspect the core is steel and that's what is wrapped around the phase cables. Then there's probably a copper wire coil in that bulkier section, wrapped around the steel. This diagram on the following page shows this basic principle of CTs.

In this case the primary conductor is the phase cables, the hollow core is the flexible steel band, the secondary winding is hidden in the bulkier section and the Ammeter is the EFI box.

Of course it's possible the manufacturer has chosen a different method, such as a Hall effect device, but their manual does not suggest this is the case.
