Opening inventor .IDW files and having problems

I go to open a .IDW file and the background won't open. It will bring up the background that is in the modeling area.

I have updated my video driver and that has done nothing.

What I end up doing is close out of all my .IDW files and open a new blank .IDW file and then opening the drawing I was trying to open to begin with, and that will work.

Anyone else have the same problems and have you had any luck fixing this?

Thanks
Matt

What video card are you using?

We use GeForce4 Ti4600 and these have limitations on number of windows open etc, before weird corruption occurs of we get a slow down in machine response.

NVIDIA Quadro4 700XGL is what I have in my computer. I did a windows update and so far it has only done it once, but I haven't been working with .IDW files too much in the past week.
Another guy at my company has had the same thing happen to him as well. I might ask at my inventor training next week.

Other than that, the only other video problem is in large assemblies, the holes will not show up as holes, they will look like octagons and whatnot. I have my display quality set for smooth and I still get this. Anyone else notice this?

Thanks
Matt

I have a Quadro 4 too and have the same problem. Did you find out what was wrong yet?
