opening .model in v5

I am getting read/write errors and imcompatible file types when trying to open .model files (catia 4?) with V5.

Please ask your question again using more details. I'm sure that it will be easier for us to understand what's your problem.

.model file its a CATIA v4 file. To avoid errors, may be its better to use Tools-Batch utility to migrate to v5 before opening (but its true that you should be able also to open the model file directly in v5).
