How do you change the start date on a project in the program OpenProj?
My department is supposed to start using OpenProj for our projects. My boss made a template that shows the standard tasks and time durations for our projects.
On the template, he put the start date for the entire project as 1/3/11, since it's just a template for us to work from. I want to change the date back to 3/1/10, since that's when my project started, but I can't figure out how to do that. If I double click the start date, then the "Task Information - 1" box comes up, I can change the date on the little calendar back to March 1, 2010, then a little box comes up and says "May this task start before the project start?" and I click "OK", and then the date immediately goes back to 1/3/11.
I also went to Project drop down menu, chose Projects, and changed the date there. It let me change the date to 3/1/10 there, but that didn't seem to affect anything else.
So, does anyone know how to change the start date in OpenProj? Thanks for your help.
