Are there nx users that are experiencing problems with the lastest MS update concerning open type letterfonts?

This is the windows update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2753842

We still don't have them implemented via de update server from the factory so i can't check for now, but if someone is seeing problems please post here. We then can take counter measurements for the issue.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Michaël.

Have you actually heard of people using NX who have had problems? Or are you simply asking whether anyone is having problems, based ONLY what was noted in the MS bulletin?

Second one John, only based on the MS bulletin. And from other users who are using the fonts in graphical packets (coral draw, QuarkXpress,...).
MS is investigating the issue.
Is NX using these type of fonts by the way?

Best regards,

Michaël.

Starting with NX 8.0, NX allows you to use either TrueType or OpenType fonts when adding annotation to a Drawing. Also starting with NX 8.0, the on screen text characters, such are for the display of object names and the X,Y,Z notations of CSYS/WCS are now using TrueType fonts (which I guess you could change to an OpenType example if you wished to).
