IS THERE A SETTING TO PUT THE PIN TO HOLD THE OPERATION NAVIGATOR OPEN ON THE LEFT CORNER INSTEAD OF THE RIGHT?

If you dock the navigator on the right side of the screen the pin will show up in the top left corner, but this is probably not the solution you were looking for. This option can be found at (NX2) Preferences -> User Interface... Resource bar tab -> option button group Display resource bar left/right.

Why would you want it on the Left if you're working with the Resource Bar on the Right? We moved it from it's old position on the Left to the Right (actually to be near the side with the Resource Bar) based on dozens of complaints that we got from people that a) didn't like to have to move their mouse all the way out to the Left to reach the pin, and b) that many times they tended to 'overshoot' and the navigator would snap closed (granted, we did alleviate that problem in NX 4).

And to sort of back this up, someone made a 'mistake' and moved the 'pin' back to the Left in the Beta Phase of NX 5 and when the beta testers were here they were very upset at the thought that we were moving it back to the Left and demanded that we change it back to where it was in NX 4, even after we told them that it was known mistake that we intended to correct anyway (I think some of the beta testers thought that we were just 'testing' them on this ;-)

Well everyone I work with here hate the pin in nx4. there sould be a option for the user to decide witch side the pin is on.

Well, that's totally opposite from the feedback that we got from many NX 3 users and that gorup of NX 5 beta testers who thought we were going BACK to the way NX 3 was.

So does that mean there is no way to change it?
