Would anyone have an "operational reduction to flight envelopes for dummies" out there.

I have to check the operational reduction that was done many years ago for A 747. I have the airbus "getting to grips with" and the original B74 WBM with a this is the answer for a generic B74 section but neither of them are a great deal of use in explaining what they did to get the answers.

What I cannot find is a step by step guide in how I should really go about this?

Thanks for looking!
cheers

From my understanding there can be no "reduction" in the "approved" operational flight envelope for "revenue service" operations. The "approved" operational envelope is defined in the Aproved AFM, its apendices appropriate for that S/N'd airplane and the operators approved MEL.

For a "non-revenue" operation then large reductions in the operational flight envelope may be aproved for such a one-time ops. The operators operating approvel authority has to make such an approval. Often the manufacturer is consulted and provides advise and occasionally does an "analyses" for the particular situation.

Pwerhaps I'm not reading your query correctly?
