Is there anyone out there using Oracle AutoVue?

I'm looking into the software for a CAD viewer to do the following:
Open any type of CAD including NX, Catia, SolidWorks, and Inventor
Ability to be alt to hide/show parts
Measure dimensions including I.D., O.D., C/L lengths, and volumes
Overlays
The ability to to check file structure for part numbers

We do.

We have constant issues with surface corruption/display, (it seems to really not like partial spherical surfaces) not showing /all/ MBD/PMI data when it's clearly available in the native software, and it's frankly a pain in the rear to navigate through and use the hide/show functions. The measure tools are among the worst of any viewer I've used, as well. Our estimators use it and are constantly complaining about it and requiring engineering assistance.

Oh, I see.

This software would be for engineers that don't have CAD software and cost estimators

There are other viewers. I have used Spinfire many many years ago, but these are ones I've found through Google just recently, for a customer of mine that asked a similar question:

- Spinfire

- Glovius

- Kisters

No recommendations from me as I've never used them or in the case of Spinfire not for a long time.
