What about controling an groller hydraulic motor with a orbital steering valve in open loop, how the system will behave , I want to achieve some creeping speed without investing in hydrostatics.

Well, you need to put a crank where the steering wheel normally is and crank away. For small power (like single horsepower) there are torque amplifiers wich does what it sounds like, amplify the torque you put in.

If continuous motion is what you want then a normal OpenCenter directional valve is a much better choice, that's how people typically design hydraulic systems.

Either way, when powered by a fixed displacement pump you will get losses and heat generation unless you are going full speed. Especially creep speed with high load will give A LOT of losses and heat generation, such is the physics. A variable pump (is that what you mean with hydrostatics?) with a flow type control will not have these large losses and heat generation.

Every now and then people are trying to invent a system with lossless, variable flow without a variable pump. So far no success but who knows...

This answer may or may not be helpful to you. Since you give absolutely no clue of what you are going to use it for or what kind of torque and power levels we are dealing with I'm guessing it's not helping.
