Greetings!
I am trying to export a bunch of solids to a parasolid file which will be read into an FEA package.
The guy doing the FEA work said that he would appreciate knowing the sequence up front so he can create a meshing routine based on the internal ordering of the solids. In short, he wants to dictate the order in which the solids show up in his feature tree.
I have created the solids in the order I want to export them, so in essence they line up sequentially inside of UG. Note that these solids are stitched together from groups of 6 surfaces, which were not created in a specific order.
I export the solids, and bring the parasolid file back into a new UG session, and the solids are all over the place in the tree.
Is there anyway to control the numbering of the export features, or the sequence in the tree?
