Dear all,

currently I`m working on a revision of our material order lists.
Can anyone help me how to word correctly for fittings and flanges so that the supplier is able to deliver the material I want w/o questions or mistakes
For example if I order a welding neck flange 2" 150lbs A182F321 RF. Is there a standardized wording or phrase for that?

thanks in advance
Uli

Your material requisitions should look something like this one, attached, some of the designations may have changed slightly. That's a pretty old list.

You wouldn't go far wrong using BigInch's list. I've got a similar one, but his is better.
