hi everyone,
Parking garage, ordinary hazard, ssu heads.130 sqft max protection area and max spacing 15'... heads are spaced 10x13 on jobsite, does that mean max spacing off wall is 6'6"? or does it stay 7'6" because because you can max them out at 15'.

Per NFPA 13 the max spacing off a wall for ordinary hazard and standard spray upright or pendents is 7'-6". According to your scheme above the max spacing off a wall would be either 5'-0" or 6'-6" receptively.

Assuming the lines are 13'-0" apart and heads on the line are 10'-0" apart the maximum distance you can have off a wall is 6'-6".

You can be 7'-6" off walls with standard spray sprinklers. BUT, the area of coverage per sprinkler can not exceed 130 sq ft in Ordinary Hazard areas. If you are 7'6" off the wall, that is 15' in that direction. Therefore, you can't exceed 8'-8" on center for the sprinklers in the other direction.
