ordinate (cumulative) dimentioning for v5 rev 16

hello,

I have been trying to use the cumulative dimentioning tool on a job at work and have been having problems with it. I am able to create the O line and the next dimention but after that nothing else will select to create another dimention. How do I keep the command running and making dimentions using the same O line till I am finished with it? Am I missing steps, or is there a toggle I am missing in tools>options? Also have been having problems with the stack dimention as well. have to use line up off of the right click on a dimention.

I just pick the line I want to use for the o-line, then pick all the items i want to dimension to. Then the command end when I make an emply selection click.

i have been trying to do the same but with no luck! i have double clicked on the icon to keep the command working it will create and O line then the first dimention after that then start all over again! also i forgot to mention im using a UNIX box not a regular PC so may play into this in some way shape or form!

Works for me the same way on the UNIX box. Your selecting elements in the same direction right? Like all vertical elements to dimension and all horizontal in different command.

actually i have found out my problem what happened was i would slecet the two lines one being o line then clicked off in space to set it instead of just clicking all the lines then clicking off into space. more of a user problem then the system!! thanks for your help!!
