Out of Plane Wall Bracing at Floors

The kicker should be toenailed to the band to help resist the upward brace component under wall suction.
Can your truss and its connections to its supports resist the up and down loads from the brace? There is never a free lunch in these situations.
Ideally, the wall would be framed continuously to the underside of the floor sheathing. Good luck getting that done!
 
The detail looks good (with XR250's suggestions incorporated). But how is that easier than blocking?

If they've already framed the floor, this is much easier to install than blocking would be.
