I am trying to find (or find a way to calculate) the outgassing rate of Copper and Aluminum 6262. Neither of the materials will be baked. Does anyone know where to find this or how to calculate it? I found the outgassing rates for 304 Stainless Steel and Aluminum 6061-T6, but I can't find Copper or 6262 Al. I've been researching this for days. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,
Tara

This seems like a typical homework problem in a materials transport phenomena class. Outgas rate is really related to the diffusivity coefficient of the specific gases dissolved within a metal. The actual rate can be calculated by knowing the amount of gas species dissolved in the metal, temperature and partial pressure of the gas species outside of the metal.
