hello

Where as ASME provides tolerances for ovality of shells subjected to pressures, is there tolerances on ovality for fabricated nozzle pipes?

Regards

See the requirments in SecII and SecVIII UG-45

UG 45 does not refer to Ovality tolerances for Nozzles.

Sec II tolerances cannot be applied, when the pipe is used as Nozzle in a vessel. Just as we cannot apply the straightness tolerances of sec II in components after it is used in Vessel.

Think you need more to do. LOL I get to spend time here while waiting for others.

See U-2(g). Now since you seem to enjoy finding things, look at UCI-78(c) and UW-28.

BMOORTY,

Per UG-80, permissible out-of-roundness for cylindrical shells is 1% of nomimal diameter at cross section.
Pipe specifications also generally limit out-of-roundness to 1%, though some specs for fusion welded pipes allow 1.5%.
Lacking other direction, I have used the 1% criteria of UG-80.
You may also investigate whether there is a Code Interpretation on this subject
