Over frequency trip on genset trip after big load drop

We have (2) 2mw gas generators and (2) 1.5kw compressors in an small island microgrid.
When one of the compressors trips it will cause over frequency trip on genset breaker (Sudden removing big load)
Is the cap bank or load bank helpfull to be used as virtual load to avoid this event?
(Plc to Command step up To bank to avoid freq increase As soon as compressor tripped)

Cap Bank doesn't really consume real power so won't do anything to compensate for the loss of load.
I assume you mean 1.5MW rather than kW.
Gas plant (assuming turbine, although my understanding is 2MW may well be a bit small for a turbine) as I understand it doesn't do so well with load rejection as diesel does, but I would have thought that the system would have to be tuned as much as possible to avoid over frequency trips. Others with more experience in gas plant may be able to provide further perspective.
I have seen control systems add more load in potential reverse power situations, but not so much as a dump load to avoid a load rejection trip.

Do you have any information as to the actual over-frequency or the time to trip?
By a compressor trip, do you mean an overload trip or a normal shutdown?
Do you have enough time to connect a load before the set trips?
Is the amount of over-frequency liable to cause any damage other than the breaker trip?
If no damage is being done, the solution may be as simple as increasing the over-frequency trip setting.
