Howdy all,

Using Solidworks 2021 SP3.0, but this has been an issue in previous releases as well.

I have the drawing standard set as ANSI in the document properties. But it uses ISO (I think). If I switch to any other standard and apply the changes then switch back to ANSI, it then uses ANSI. But every drawing I need to switch away and then switch back for ANSI to be the overall standard used even though it's what's the default. Is this a known problem? Can anyone suggest a fix. It's a minor annoyance, that bugs me a bit more every time I need to do it.

Thanks all,

-Kirby

Create your template drawing. Change settings as needed. Then "File, Save Sheet Format", then save as file type "Drawing Template (*.drwdot)".
Go to System Options, change "Default Templates" and "File Locations" folder locations.
