Overcurrent in DCS/PLC SCADA

Hi,
How can I monitor the over current value of the motor in PLC SCADA?
The motor is running with DOL starter.

Add a current transformer and signal converter, or a current transducer in the starter.

Most control manufacturers now offer “smart” overload relays that have communication options either built in or optional. The chances are good that if you contact the manufacturer of your DOL starters, they have a smart OL that will replace the OL relay that you have now and correct directly to the contactor.
