Dear Seniors,
We have purchased Flanges and forgings from X vendor(non stamp holder)who does overlay on the same. As there are statements that non ustamp holder cannot do any type of welding on pressure parts.
But as per Asme Sec VIII Div 1 UG 11. states otherwise.
Asme Sec VIII Div 2. 3.2.8 also says non u stamp holder can do.
Please give your opinion. As there is no problem with quality of the vendor they are expert in same.
