oversized evaporator's txv capacity

In a high temperature chilling flower walk-in room, for instance, to avoid dehumidification, there are recommended to be used an ovesized evaporator. Thus, there are majorly sensible heat being removed. From what I understand, the SH should be as high as more than 12K, delta Tair-in minus T evaporation should be less than 10K. But by all this, what about the txv - should it match the capacity of the compressor, or the capacity of the evaporator ?

I think one needs to know what your parameters are of what you want to cool etc.
for sizing, the manufacturer would be able to help, but they need to know what DAT you want etc.

de-humidification is all about what temperatures you cool the air down to. and how far you can cool it down t is a matter of flow, inlet conditions and cooling capacity (which itself changes with temperatures). the manufacturer uses some software, but they need to know what you are trying to do.

"Oversized" is relative to something, but that something is not stated, perhaps leading to your confusion.

Most likely it means "oversized" relative to a "typical" comfort cooling coil.

Regardless, the refrigerant inside the coil does not know or care if the heat it is absorbing is sensible or latent on the air side.

Select a TXV to match the load.

Thank you for your answers ! One need, it seems, to experiment with different txv sizes to find which capacity it should be closer to : the comp., or the evap., which could be, let's say, 2 times bigger. Knowledgeable, experienced people are not helpful, unfortunately.
