Does anyone know where I can find info about oyster shell as a lightweight fill? How do you determine the maximum dry unit weight of such material due to the fact that the particles will keep breaking when the hammer is dropped.

Thanks for you input

LaDOTD has specs for shell fill and shell sub-base.
