Hello,
I am studying a PP copolymer material; DSC was performed using a heat/cool/heat methodology (10°C/min). The melting transition in the first heating is OK, but in the second heating, after slow cooling (-10°C/min), the material showed irregularities on the melting transition.
It is known that first heating provides information about process and the second, after erasing unknown thermal history, provides information about material. This means that the quality of the material is NOK? It is a material in which two cristal phases coexist? Would this be OK? The mechanical properties is changed?
I attached the DSC curve.
If I made a mistake in choosing the forum, please excuse me and point me to another forum if you know.

Thank you for your opinion.
