P-M Ratio Colors and Values not shown on Sap v14.1.0 for AISI-LRFD design. 1

Hi everybody:
I'm designing an industrial building. Its roof structural system is made of trusses (in both longitudinal and transverse direction) and purlins (oriented in longitudinal direction) supported by the aforementioned trusses. Both trusses and purlins are assigned to Cold formed steel. I executed the design/check of the structure using AISI-LRFD96 built-in in the software and I only obtained results (colors and ratios meaning demand/capacity ratio) for the purlins and not for the trusses. Why did it happen????

I'd like to know your suggestions, experiences or advices.

Were the trusses also made of cold-formed sections? When you run a specific design check, results will only be displayed for that material design

Yes, the trusses were made of cold-formed steel as well. I already know that results will only be displayed for the specified material for which the design check is run. I read a similar issue in this forum Link where an user said he has gotten the same problem. I don't know if it is a software error.

Let me know your experience or advice.

hm20284, I forgot to mention that SAP2000 cold-formed steel design will only design for C, Z, and Hat sections. If you used cold-formed steel material with any other section then SAP probably will not design. If your truss sections were in fact C, Z, or Hat sections, then I don't know what else could be the problem and suggest that you contact CSI technical support. You might also try checking the Display menu>Show tables to see if SAP reported design results in the output tables.

Thank you very much. Your last post was helpful. The problem is that truss sections are not C, Z nor Hat sections hence I won't obtain design results. Thanks again!!
