I have a control system that is to be entirely be mounted to back of the faceplate and I don't want the shaft and all it's headaches. I'm looking for a disconnect I can mount to the BACK of the front panel. Has anyone got a line on these things I'm not finding any. I'm working in the 40~80A 208V region. (USA)

Didn't realise the OT series of switches was available over there but I've used them for a long time and they're well made. Good recommendation from MikeL.

Doing jobs overseas, especially in Europe made me deal with a lot of stuff we just don't have in the US, but in recent years it seems more stuff is becoming available. For most of my professional life I've always turned to Allen Bradley first, mainly due to the local supply house always taking good care of me, but there sure is a lot of nice things that both Siemens and ABB seem to have, and it seems to be getting easier to get here now. The only difficulty I seem to constantly run into here in the US, especially with ABB stuff, is that unless I know exactly the part number of what I want, seems hard to find technical help when looking for some of the "uncommon" type items.

Good luck, MikeL.

Indeed the catalog stuff for ABB seemed confusing and incomplete. I finally just went with what Allied offered as a pair, the 40A AC3 stuff. Essentially a buy-it-and-see which I really don't like but in this case can work time-wise. It should be here tomorrow.

Lately Galco seems to be doing a better job and figuring out what I need, but I haven't tried buying this product line from them yet. Not sure what anyone else's experience has been or if someone else has a better source in the US for ABB.
