Can anybody tell me how parallel port programming with MS Visual C++ 6.0 functions under Windows NT? I can`t use the
commands _outp(), _inp(). Which are the commands under NT to "talk" to the LPT1-Port???

First, you must get something that will let you talk to the parallel port as far as Windows is concerned. Something like DLPortIO, or something like that. Needham make a programmer that utilizes the parallel port and they create a special program called EMP20NT.EXE. If you go to Needham's website, you can download this file. Once you run it, you should have the ability to talk to the parallel port using your normal INP() and OUTP() commands.

Good Luck and keep us posted!!!
