have a problem with thransformers.
Presently have two thransformers in parallel. 25000v to 417v
50 hz ( India)
The infeed supplies both one 1000KVA the second 1250 KVA. the secondaries are parallel and feed a voltage regulator transformer. Is this proper or will one over load??
Please contact me if you have information.

Suggestion: The secondary paralleled transformers can share load according the transformer parameter(s) control, e.g. if the transformer secondary voltage is slightly increased, the transformer will deliver more power to the constant impedance loads. Constant power loads, e.g. motors, will not be significantly increasing transformer loading when the transformer secondary voltage is somewhat increased.

jb,

Are you suggesting using different taps to adjust the load sharing of the two parallel transformers?
