Hi,
Here is a simple tip that makes it easy to spot missing parameter information in models. It's called the "Parameter Master List". What it is, is an additional drawing sheet that has a repeat region showing all of the model parameters, drawing names and numbers etc. used in an assembly. For example; if your drawing title blocks are driven by model parameters,a quick look at the list will indicate whether or not all of the driving parameters have been filled in correctly - this can save time and red ink in the drawing check department. The best part is you can edit any parameter, for any model present in the assembly - right from the list!
For a detailed explanation please see:
We have just started using this system with very good results - Unfortunately though, I can not take credit for creating this technique.
cheers,
JW
