Parametric Tabulated Drawings

Is there any one out there who has come up with a simple and reliable method of Tabulating Inventor drawings? I have come up with a process of creating an assembly with all parts to be tabulated included in the assembly; I can create a parametric drawing but it take a lot of BOM manipulation to accomplish this.
