Parcel with water boundary (slough)
(in California)

Can a parcel be described using approximate courses along a water boundary?

Or does it have to be described as a meandering line?

Can anyone point me to some guidelines please.

thanks

As I remember it, an approximate course along a water boundary is a Meandering Line. And, usually there are some monuments set at the begnining and end of the meandering line. You could call any surveyor in your area or the state Land Surveyor's Society for exact definitions in your state.

Why do you ask?
